No Painkillers in the City of Accra

We’re scared. We’re very afraid. All manner of things are no-go areas now. No local Bitters or Gins. They increase the libido for 2 months and then give you a mere mushroom for life. Now, some boffin says here that painkillers cause ED. In other words, if you want to be well and firmly hung, don’t take Ibuprofen, though your head splits into two.

  1. hehhe... Tough choice! Which head would you rather save??? On a serious note though... it's an observational study so you can't establish a causal relationship, plus if you pop ibuprofen occasionally, you (i mean one) will probably be fine!

  3. I am, from today, allergic to analgesics. No doctor dare use it on me,else I would sue him in court.

  5. I take Ibuprofen for sinus inflamations (during allergy season). I noticed years ago that I'm "slow to rise" and "early to bed" when I'm on Ibuprofen. I now take it only when really needed.

  10. :-) @ fafa Q.
Had to share my experience so if anyone is out there doubting the report, they could count me as a real statistic. I initially thought its active ingredients included those found in muscle relaxers but I checked & it doesn't.

"ako-balm" sounds scary. Reminds me of ola balm and how it burns.

  11. @unanimous. I am aware of Ola Balm and you are right it burns, "ako balm" does burn too. But i am presuming that the burning sensation is part of the healing process.

  12. "healing process" is what you call it? 2hrs of misery is what I call it. Had an up-close-and-personal encounter with one of ako balm's cousins. Name is Brush. China Brush (doing my James bond impersonation).

  13. @uanimous:lol but brush still isn't ako-balm, remember?.
