Nigerian Women – A Different Breed?

Today, I tried to catch a quick swim before Ghana’s failed football final, but changed my mind at the poolside, for the water showed slightly green. Before I turned around, I ‘glamoured’ this group of 5 or 6 Nigerian girls gaily splashing about. They cat-pawed observers like me with their clothes-off body-confidence, easygoing splendour of fun, and the lingering look they lavish you with when something about you interests them. All this, and they were not even lovelier than the local competition... didn’t need to be.

  1. Ghanaian women tend to be more conservative. But that is now subject to change.

Loose, those ones, NY. Best avoided. I like my women fully dressed!

  7. @ lucci: I realize that. There was a girl with the Naija girls, who spoke like them but I found out she could speak Twi like any Twi girl. They were rubbing off her, so she was not so, what was the word you used, "conservative".

@ Kwame M-B: I'm sorry, but I have to disagree with you on this. I do not like my women fully dressed at, and in, a swimming pool. They were only swimming and having.

@ Kiz: I agree and hope it was not meant literally. But what would the figurative meaning be, I wonder?

@ JuaNita: I honestly do not think we have enough information on this little, poolside "affair" to make comparisons and judgment, no?

@ Anon: Yes you do sound like a woman. I do not think there is any reason to run.

@ mouthed-eaglet: Thanks for commenting. But, there is really no reason to run. Those were really cool girls just swimming on a hot Sunday afternoon.

  8. Did not know Naija girls were any 'different' from Ghanaian girls.
Girls from both countries come as different as you get them.

NY...lingering looks, etc? I'll avoid such like 100% @ Kissi...erm i meant i don't like women who are in any state of undress in public, ie. breasts falling out, etc.

  11. @ posekyere: Exactamente, almost. Although I still agree with lucci that Naija women are a tad bolder and more adventurous.

@ Edward: Art thou a biased beholder of beauty?

@ Kwame M-B: Lingering looks are lovely to receive, speaking for myself - Flirt Capital. And breasts are not falling out. They're just knocking on the bikini door. Lol

  12. There is definitely something to be said about a woman who is perfectly comfortable with her body. National origin, color of skin, and size notwithstanding, I find them very sexy.

  13. If there is something I love about the few Naija women I know, it is their assertive voice and attitude. Ghanaian women in my estimation are a tad too meek at times--and I'm talking even about the middle class ones! Those of us who like strong women might like the Naija ones, too;-)
