I Can't Believe My Aunt Did That!

It was way past bedtime. I was only 6 or 7, and quite precocious too. I was talking to my mother and aunt (my mother's friend really). My mother got up to take the tea cups(they'd been having a cuppa) to the kitchen, and my aunt farted so loudly. My mother turned and blamed me. The corner of my aunt's mouth twitched, but she pretended not to know what was going on. I haven't forgiven her at all!

  1. lol. its funny how one remembers certain events in ones childhood SO WELL that they will never be forgotten. Every detail is carefully stored. That was an awful thing to do to a child though! I hate people who let other people take the blame for something they did, but allowing a child to do so is even more ugly. Props for savouring all your thoughts and writing them down in your blog do interestingly. I'll try to take a lesson.

  2. Thanks, Adaeze. I also hate peeps who lay the blame on kids.
