PatrOItic

Rubbish teacher. How can a person luring kids to a TV programme say "patroitic" and expect me to let my child watch? I've seen too many kindergarten teachers destroy our kids' speech and pronunciation with 2 decades of undoing to correct. Are teachers at that level not probably the most important? Patroitic? Idiotic!

  2. Could not agree more. it's heart-wrenching to hear a kid speaking with hideous pronounciations of English words.

    1. uhm pronunciations. sad to see so many people unable to break from the chains of their early teachers' pronunciations.

  3. I had a teacher who insisted that forehead was pronounced "FORRID". Luckily, I knew better.

    1. yes, thank God. But we can agree that that is more a cultural thing and people's laziness to learn a new 'culture' properly than a straight-out pronunciation problem.
