I hate to wait too! At least the wait should be made more interesting with some coverage that step by step tells who is leading, and educates us about the geography and the electoral system of this beautiful country. Yesterday, Ghanaian TV showed soccer and some choir singing - where is the analysis?
Whilst it is a smart move to make sure all the tallies are in order, there is always a fine balance between an appropriate waiting period for the release of results and an unbearably long period of obfuscation which might be seen as an attempt to cook the numbers. I sincerely hope that the EC is taken that into account.
