Obama, Geithner & Other Random Questions

Will the UN forcibly release Suu Kyi?
Remove the Death Penalty and let them pay a fee?
Will America leave Obama & Geithner alone?
Why punish one who's confessed on their own?

  1. No the UN will not intervene in An Suu Kyi case. Who will lead the UN team to Burma? Obama will not. Ghana cannot. Anybody ready to spend billions to rescue one woman in a land with nothing substantial under the soil?
I don't mind prisoners on death row paying fines and still remaining behind bars until they die a natural death. Whatever you do keep them behind bars.
Obama and Geithner will be left alone when the American economy begins to work again and people get back to making money.
Confession must garner some leniency but not outright exenoration, I believe. Otherwise the Osama Bin Ladens of this world will come of their holes to the confession booth for freedom. No!

  3. Definitely pertinent questions...had not heard that the UN were planning to intervene in the Aung San Suu Kyi case. Why not before? Why 10 years ago?
America can never leave Obama and Geitner alone. Alas, such is the burden of being President of the World in the face of the world economic crisis.

  4. Dear Abena,

No, the UN is not planning to intervene in Burma. I was just asking a question about when it would stop being a talker, and start flexing some muscle.
