ReplyDeleteNana Yaw Asiedu; Roger, why are you laughing?
Roger Gaisie; Yes Sir!
I heard this joke when I went to Entsi, a village in the Western Region about 5yrs ago. I couldn't help myself but laugh out very loud till tears started in my eyes. Our education system is a total failure if you ask me. We sit in Accra and the rest of the big cities and assume, all is good. The future leaders are in the villages/towns with no proper training facilities.
ReplyDeleteWhy won't the children respond "YES" and when the same teacher asks the same question in the local language, they said NO or "Daabi".
Is it a complete disaster now and in the future? Yesir!
ReplyDeleteTragicomedy. Education has been my main theme in my recent articles.
