Maybe we are even luckier today than immediately after independence, when these evil multinationals would hire mercenaries to even remove our presidents in bloody coups.
ReplyDeleteI'm with you on this one. Truth is a fearful thing - for those that want to hide it!
ReplyDelete@Anonymous... perhaps they still do but in a different guise. Here they can talk to decision-makers to withhold aid from such countries, knowing that this would lead to agitation as government is unable to complete or start projects. Now the issue is economic terrorism.
ReplyDeleteGood piece, now the question is who has the eye to 'see' wikileaks?
ReplyDeleteCorporations = bad
ReplyDeleteConniving presidents = moronic scounderls

ReplyDeleteAtta-Mills seems like a good man, even though it would take a lot more than his personal integrity to make our system sane. He should aim at empowering the institutions that check corruption.
ReplyDeleteBusiness not charity, please NY! Up to countries to strengthen their processes and institutions...and elect a more honest political class.
ReplyDeleteWe don't need eyes to see wikileaks. When the time comes we'll develop one
ReplyDeleteIt would be real nice if Atta-Mills would accidentally let loose the names of the corporations and others involved in the attempted persuasions.
