In the showery, half-light morning, on the glistening arch arteries of asphyxiated Accra, the downtown drive is slippery, but smooth and swift. The breeze is brisk: barely beginning to bite. I would do anything for this dream downpour drive every morning.
Tell me about it!!! would do anything for this breeze too.
ReplyDeleteHear, hear! Me too Nana Yaw..what a lovely breeze-filled morning!
ReplyDeleteI would too Nana! And as always, it's beautifully written.
ReplyDeleteMe three! I'm loving today's weather. No sweating, and a minimal amount of cars on the road. Why can't we have a day like this at least once a week?
ReplyDeleteExciting. Loving it, plus i get to wear my mid-way sweater, sweet.
ReplyDeleteHmmn... the cool weather... it is awesome here too
ReplyDeleteHm. Whilst others are despairing of the cold, others are yearning for some of it. God can never satisfy the human race!
ReplyDeleteKwame,we are a bunch of confused homosapiens who cannot be satisfied in anyway.Even God cannot help us.
ReplyDeleteIn this lovely breeze, I harbor no wish to drive to work even "on the glistening arch arteries of asphyxiated Accra", I just want to roll over and sleep some more...
ReplyDeleteI thought that too as I drove home this morning. Nice summery kind of rain here and in spring too.
